Periodic report to the board under article 5 of the Director’s rules (in Dutch) dated 25/10/2005 for the six
months’ period to 30th June, 2012.
This is the thirteenth on the activities of Stichting Bakens Verzet (NGO “Another Way”).
The report describes the activities of the Association from 1/1/2012 to
30/06/2012.
New work on integrated development included a new
section of the course for the Diploma in
Integrated Development on how integrated development projects automatically
meet most climate adaptation requirements as provided in Annex III to the document Identification and implementation of medium- and
long-term adaptation activities in least-developed countries (Technical
Paper FCCC/TP/2011/7 for Item 6(b) of the Provisional Agenda for the
Thirty-fifth Session,
The Powerpoint Presentation of Integrated Development
projects was extended to cover regional and national planning.
Powerpoint ® and text submissions were prepared for
workshops for the presentation of proposals for regional and/or national
integrated development plans in
Proposals were made for the transfer of advanced
pumping technologies to

references accompanying the Diploma in

citations inserted in the related course texts.
Work on monetary reform included assistance given to

saving, deposits and GDP.
In February 2012, an article
on monetary reform was published in the Belgian online newspaper “De Wereld Morgen.”
The homepage of website www.integrateddevelopment.org was visited more than 10000 times a month (
about 350 times a day), with an average of about 2000 hits a day. Average
monthly website traffic was about 10
gigabyte.
During the first six months of 2012, the Director
worked free of charge in the interests of the Association.
The Association received a small BTW tax return
for the year 2011 (€ 107). Costs
incurred for formalities and computer maintenance amounted to about € 275.
The Association made no commercial sales.

The potential value
of the Association lies in the (non
commercial) immaterial value of the Model for Integrated Development Projects
and in the Association’s e-learning course for the Diploma in Integrated
Development. The Association may act as consultant for the execution of
integrated development projects in developing countries subject to payment of a
modest per diem fee covering accommodation and keep. Tutor-led courses for the
Diploma in Integrated Development will be charged for on a tutor-cost recovery
only basis. As at 30/06/2012 none of the proposed integrated development
projects had been financed.
