15 - Period
report to 30/06/2013.
Periodic report to the board under article 5 of the Director’s rules (in Dutch) dated 25/10/2005 for the six
months’ period to 30th June, 2013.
Website www.integrateddevelopment.org was visited more than 10000 times a month ( about 350 times a day), with an average of about 3250 hits
a day. Average monthly website traffic was about 15 gigabytes.
During the first six months of 2013, the Director
worked free of charge in the interests of the Association.
Contacts were maintained with
the Commune of Makalondi in Niger, which apparently has not
been able to organise the start-up of the Vivons Makalondi project there.
A detailed plan for a workshop for the development of
a plan at provincial level in Ivory
Coast was prepared and submitted. This
included a detailed Powerpoint Presentation of the
initiative in French.
A plan for a week-long seminar
with the purpose of setting up a faculty for integrated development studies at
a university in Kinshasa
(D.C.Congo) was negotiated and approved, together
with the associated budget, by the local partners. The ticket for the flight to
Kinshasa was, however, not transmitted.
An Analysis of Jackson, A.,
Dyson, B., Hodgson, G. The Positive Money Proposal –
Plan for Monetary Reform,
Positive Money, London,
was drafted, edited and submitted in cooperation with L.F.Manning.
The report the Chicago Plan Revisited Version II: An insufficient
response to financial system failure was
drafted and edited in cooperation with L.F.Manning.
L.F.Manning’s articles There’s no such thing as affordable housing and What about a tax cut for the poor? were edited. L.F.Manning’s Capital is debt and Measuring nothing on the road to nowhere papers were edited.
The
Association received a small BTW tax return for the year 2012 (€ 54). Costs incurred for formalities and computer maintenance amounted to
about € 200 were advanced by the director.
No commercial
sales or activities were registered.
The balance on
bank account 78.13.27.598 with the Triodos Bank in Zeist as at 30/06/2013 was
Euro 107,02.
The potential
value of the
Association lies in the (non commercial) immaterial value of the Model for
Integrated Development Projects and in the Association’s e-learning course for
the Diploma in Integrated Development. The Association may act as consultant
for the execution of integrated development projects in developing countries
subject to payment of a modest per diem fee covering accommodation and keep.
Tutor-led courses for the Diploma in Integrated Development will be charged for
on a tutor-cost recovery only basis. As at 30/06/2013
none of the proposed integrated development projects had been financed.
