Report to the board under article 5 of the Director’s rules (in Dutch) dated 25/10/2005 with
statement of profits and losses for the book year ending 31/12/2012.
This is the fourteenth report on the activities of
Stichting Bakens Verzet (NGO “Another Way”). The report describes
the activities of the Association from 01 January 2012 to 31 December
During the period 01 July, 2012 – 31 December,
2012 activities on Integrated Development included :
Preparation of a workshop plan for the
Correspondence and support for Women Action for
Development and Solidarity (WADS)
Systematic work in updating the material for the Course for the Diploma in
Integrated Development, including the addition of numerous new resources with corresponding
adaptation of the course texts.
Activities on monetary reform included assistance for
L.F.Manning on the drafting of :
The Manning plan for permanent
debt reduction in the national economy.
Comments on the IMF (Benes and
Kumhof) paper IMF WP/12/202 “The Chicago Plan Revisited”.
Article on the Manning Plan drafted for the Green Economy Coalition.
The Director worked the whole year full time free of
charge in the interests of the Association. No claim for out-of-pocket costs
under The Director’s Rules (document in Dutch)
dated 25/10/2005 was made.

There are several workshops under discussion which could
be held in the course of 2013, including Dem. Republic of Congo,
The potential value
of the Association lies in the (non
commercial) immaterial value of the Model for Integrated Development Projects
and in its e-learning course for the Diploma in Integrated Development. The
Association may act as consultant for the execution of integrated development
projects in developing countries subject to payment of a modest per diem fee
covering accommodation and keep. Tutor-led courses for the Diploma in
Integrated Development will be charged for on a tutor-cost recovery only basis.
As at 31/12/2012 none of the proposed integrated development projects had been
financed.
The Director
remains available for the continuation of the work of the Association in 2013,
and requests that the board to approve this report for the year 2012 and his
nomination as Director for 2013.
