Report to the board under article 5 of the Director’s rules (in Dutch) dated 25/10/2005 with
statement of profits and losses for the book year ending 31/12/2011.
This is the twelfth report on the activities of
Stichting Bakens Verzet (NGO “Another Way”). The report describes
the activities of the Association from 1/1/2011 to 31/12/2011. A period report for the period 1/1/2011 tot 30/6/2011 was
approved by the board in its meeting on 21/7/2011.
That report forms an integral part
of this annual report.
During the period 1/7/2010 – 31/12/2010
activities included :
- Detailed proposals for a high-level seminar on
integrated development planning in
- Analysis of the role integrated development projects
could play in climate change adaptation programmes in developing countries.
- Proposals for integrated development planning

A ten-day trip was made to the
The Director worked the whole year full time free of
charge in the interests of the Association. A call for reimbursement of some
out-of-pocket costs for a total of Euro 518,23 was made under The Director’s Rules (document in Dutch)
dated 25/10/2005, mostly for website and internet costs.

The potential value
of the Association lies in the (non
commercial) immaterial value of the Model for Integrated Development Projects
and in its e-learning course for the Diploma in Integrated Development. The
Association may act as consultant for the execution of integrated development
projects in developing countries subject to payment of a modest per diem fee
covering accommodation and keep. Tutor-led courses for the Diploma in
Integrated Development will be charged for on a tutor-cost recovery only basis.
As at 31/12/20120 none of the proposed integrated development projects had been
financed.
The Director
remains available for the continuation of the work of the Association in 2012,
and requests that the board to approve this report for the year 2011 and his
nomination as Director for 2012.
