This section is the core
part of the analysis of the Clean
Development Mechanism (CDM) system in relation to the financing of integrated
development projects.
It has 13 parts:
09-08. Use of renewable biomass instead of
non-renewable biomass with improved cook stoves.
09-09. Recycling of human waste to avoid the use of
industrial fertilisers.
Each of the 13 parts forms a
sub-Programme of Activities within a given integrated development project area
with about 50.000 inhabitants. Any combination of sub-Programmes of Activities
can be applied within each project area. For each sub-Programme of Activities
used, there will be either a single application at project level (50.000
people) or up to 45 applications at intermediate level (1500-2000 people) or up
to 250 applications at local development unit level (about 250 people) or up to
10.000 applications (at household level).
All indications are
approximate and indicative and subject to
change according to detailed calculations to be made for each of the
methodologies applied.
Summaries
and conclusions can be consulted in section 10. Graphs and conclusions. An executive
summary is available in section 01. Executive summary.
