1. Opinion.

 

On one page describe the preferred criteria of the women in your area concerning the siting of the water points. You are expected to talk to the women in your chosen area.

 

Who, traditionally decides such questions? What role do the women have in reaching the decisions?

 

The water point serves  +/- 50  families. Is a site in the middle of the group of houses or near the group of houses preferred ? Why ?

 

Are there any specific aspects  involving religion or respect for the dead to be considered?

 

Should the water tank be in the shade ? If so, what sort of shade ?

 

Should access to the water tank be controlled ?  If so, how ? 

 

2. Recherches.
